Hello.

Hi, I’m Nutishia Lee.

I’m a communications and marketing professional with a background in graphic design, digital strategy, and storytelling, and a focus on helping mission-driven organizations communicate more clearly and effectively.

My path into this work began through using design as a way to make complex ideas more accessible and has evolved into leading communications efforts that shape how organizations connect with their audiences.

I help organizations clarify their message and drive meaningful engagement.

I’ve built my career leading communications and digital strategy for initiatives that operate in complex, often fragmented environments where the challenge isn’t just visibility—it’s alignment. Whether developing a community platform, shaping a campaign, or guiding narrative direction, I focus on translating complex ideas into clear, compelling stories that people can understand and act on.

Much of my experience has centered on infrastructure and community-based efforts, where effective communication plays a critical role in building trust and participation. I’ve led the development of digital platforms, created content strategies that support long-term engagement, and worked across stakeholders to ensure messaging reflects both organizational goals and community needs.

I believe communications and design can be more.

I am an advocate for using human-centered design and I truly believe in using art to create change, and increase inclusivity and accessibility in the world.

Communications is both a strategic and creative discipline. Strong design and storytelling matter, but only when they are grounded in a clear understanding of purpose and impact. I work to connect those pieces by developing the strategy, guiding the execution, and ensuring the work drives real outcomes.

I’m currently focused on opportunities to lead communications and marketing strategy in roles where storytelling, engagement, and mission are deeply connected.
